The 3m clear rubber does not rest fully on the glass. It is positioned at the edge.
The purpose of this rubber to prevent metal grill from rubbing against the glass headlight

They sell it as High Quality but it's terrible, really bad. It's not quality metal. And it fits in a very strange way. Also, it arrived without screws so I couldn't install it.
