I bought it to use as a stand because it's inconvenient to deal with an umbrella on a rainy day, but I don't want to stick it here and there, so I'm just using it by inserting it between the plastic covers behind the driver's seat and hanging an umbrella over it... (Attaching a clip to the phone holder would also work well).

Great to hold umbrellas

I gave it 3 starts because this is really for smaller umbrellas. not just small, but smaller. i always carry small umbrellas, but this so did not work for mines. i was only able to get it to hold by the handle of the umbrella. i will change the sticky part because it keeps falling off of the inside car panel.
